An Urban Garden
Talitha and I are sharing a garden plot this summer and were excited to fill our bed and start planting. Sadly, our cucumbers already perished, but I'm hopeful that our second try will be a success. In addition to cucumbers we planted an assortment of herbs, Brussels sprouts, tomatoes, carrots, cauliflower, peas, beans, peppers, squash, zucchini, lettuce, and arugula.

One Lovely Day
I wasn't familiar with Citizen Cope but when I heard this song on the radio, I had to hear more of his music. Beautiful stuff.
p.s. someone commented on this video that, "He's the Joakim Noah of the guitar". Made me laugh.
Treat Yo Self Part II
A couple weeks ago, Bonnie and I treated ourselves to pedicures at Spa Space. And it was amazing. We brought along a bottle of wine and were happily pampered in a private room. We left with pretty toes, feeling relaxed and maybe a little tipsy. We ended the day with neopolitan pizza at Spacca Napoli. Looking forward to Treat Yo Self Part III in a couple weeks!

Ravenswood Run
I love little neigborhood races like the Ravenswood Run. It was a beautiful spring morning for a run and it was fun to see neighbors cheering us on from their front porches. The post race party was like one big picnic with bagels, bananas, coffee, and Ann Sather cinnamon buns.

Happiness is a warm puppy
I was super excited to meet Christine's new puppy, CiCi, on Saturday. Isn't she a cutie? I mean, look at that face...I'm totally smitten.
